Admission Procedure

WB D.El.Ed. Admission 2020

West Bengal Board of Primary Education will be releasing an Online Notification for candidates who are eligible as per NCTE-norms for admission to Two Year D.El.Ed. Candidates will have to fill the Application Form from the official website as per the schedule. Course (Regular & Face to Face Mode) for the Session-2020 in the Institutions, recognized by the NCTE, affiliated to West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Candidates seeking admission in Two Year D. El. Ed. Course (regular face to face mode) have to fill the application form before the last date. All the information related to WB D.El.Ed. Eligibility

Should pass the H.S (+2) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council/University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate (where aggregate is given)/aggregate of the best five. Where there is no aggregate marks, 50% / 45% of the total of the best five scores excluding EVS (where it is not an elective subject) for eligibility will be counted.
There is, however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH/Ex-Serviceman category.
The candidate is eligible if he/she is an Indian
Must have studied and passed at the Higher Secondary level Bengali as a compulsory subject, carrying the weight age of 100 marks for admission to Bengali medium Institutions.
Must have studied English of 100 marks as the Second/other language.
Candidate should not be above 35 years of age (40 years of age for SC/ST/PH and 38 years for OBC-A & OBC-B) as on July 01, 2020.

Application form for Two Year D.El.Ed. Course admission is available now on West Bengal Board of Primary Education official website. Application form can only be filled online. Candidates can fill the application form from the official website or from the link given below before the Last date. Candidates are advised to check that they meet the eligibility criteria well in advance.
